ICE isn’t Gestapo energy it’s slave catcher familiarity, repackaged with badges and bureaucracy.
It’s enabled by leadership that intentionally hollowed out accountability. Ummm… isn’t this the part where Uncle Ben says, “With great power comes great responsibility”? Someone forgot to mention it during training, or left it off intentionally. In either case here we are.
Delaying accountability for ICE has consequences. By refusing to act, elected officials allowed an agency with consistent, weakened oversight to terrorize innocent Americans and escalate reckless behavior with deadly consequences- Enter Minneapolis.
Who knew that simply warning your neighbors and community could provoke blind rage from someone in uniform- someone supposedly tasked with defending citizens? It reveals an enforcement culture that treats any resistance as a threat. They knew this would eventually happen. Maybe that’s not surprising but, it’s horrific. They intentionally built a machine that does not discriminate against those who try to disrupt it, even if they look like the creator.
The background checks are alarmingly weak for the level of authority they are granting these individuals.
Shouldn’t emotional intelligence be the foundation of ethical policing and military service? You know, the ability to think before acting, the basic skill of not seeing resistance as a personal attack?
Pssst- Orange is actively enabling this. By refusing to hold anyone accountable. This administration is recruiting the worst of the worst, empowering incompetence at the highest levels, and letting it trickle down to those tasked with enforcing the law. Congratulations, America, your leaders are unfit.
Alright, just so we’re on the same page, and you’re not under the continued delusion of what their original function was, I’ll break it down for you. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is not your friendly neighborhood police department, they are not your typical state trooper. ICE is a federal agency with authority across the entire country and even internationally. They were created post 9/11. They detain, arrest, deport, and run detention facilities, with barely anyone checking their work. – we need a 1 on 1 weekly meeting here. Stat!!!
What people are failing to understand, is this isn’t a job stocking shelves or answering phones. This is an agency under military service. In any functional system, authority monitors with scrutiny.
Where are the appropriate checks and balances? A recent expose revealed, the amount of time spent to train a new ice field recruit, stated, training is boiled down to 47 days, first in homage to the 47th president and they also chose to skip the Spanish speaking portion of it. These recruits handle everything from deportations to transnational investigations. Now imagine handing that kind of power to someone lacking judgment, empathy, or emotional intelligence. -Chaos delivered in uniform.
PAY ATTENTION!! The goal isn’t subtle. They’re have actively recruited the worst of the worst to push the agenda. The focus is not competent law enforcement; it’s about filling the ranks with people willing to follow orders without question, regardless of what it will cost.
Do you wanna scenario – Jurassic Park- a velociraptor intentionally released without handlers, without a cage. ICE is that raptor: fast, territorial, operating on instinct, surrounded by a pack of lackeys tearing through everything in its path. Authority without judgment, predatory in every aspect.
We’re all in the path of the feeding frenzy and a heads up, make sure all doors stay closed, unless you want to test just how little competence protects the herd.
So, what do they think is going to happen when people see their quality of life continually, rapidly deteriorating? Your “representatives” aren’t doing anything to curb the behavior, but there’s enough violence to go around, enough to fill your belly and your paystub. You can’t even afford to live. That is true violence. The reaction to it is far scarier. Something long buried will eventually claw its way up and reset everything and it will not ask permission..
